Meet the Editors
Lexie Rieder
Lexie Rieder is a junior double majoring in English, with a concentration in Literary Studies, and Communication Studies. Outside of Honorable Mentions, Lexie is also a peer tutor at the Writing Center. She enjoys journaling, reading, and avidly playing the Sims 4 . This is Lexie’s first year as an Honorable Mentions editor and is so excited to help this amazing newsletter come to life!
Abby Kane
Abby Kane is a junior studying animation with a minor in screenwriting. Aside from Honorable Mentions, she also works at The Writing Center and is a part of the DePaul Dance Company’s musical theatre team. She loves anything to do with reading, writing , and she recently published her first novel, Song of the Stars, and is working on the sequel), or cats. Abby has loved being an Honorable Mentions editor so far and is looking forward to an even more successful second year!
Demi Adebayo
Demi Adebayo is a freshman studying Marketing, with a minor in Graphic Design. This is Demi’s first year with Honorable Mentions, and she is excited to combine her passions for writing and design with the publication. Outside of her involvement in co-curricular organizations like Alpha Kappa Psi, Demi spends her free time exploring novel ideas and reading stories (when she gets the time!). Demi is so excited to gain new experiences with Honorable Mentions and see its success in the coming years!
