Drop-In Advising

Do you have a quick question about planning your Winter schedule? Drop-in virtually or IRL to chat with an Honors Advisor.

Honors advisors will be holding Drop-In Advising next week – Oct 7-11.  Please see the schedule below. 

Drop-In Advising allows students to meet briefly with an advisor, without an appointment, to discuss plans for winter quarter registration.

For more complex advising, including major/minor selection or changes in your academic plan, please use MyDePaul to schedule an appointment. For questions related to major requirements, please consult with a major or college advisor.

• For in-person advising, please check in with the student worker in the Honors Office – Arts & Letters Hall, suite 210.
• For zoom advising, use the link provided below.  You will be called in from the waiting room in order of your arrival.
  • For either format, have your ID# ready.

General Enrollment Information:

• Check your Campus Connect Student Homepage  (Manage Classes – Registration Appointments) to determine the date and time at which you can register.  You may enroll at or after that appointed time.
  • Registration appointments are based on priority groups and credits completed. Your appointment cannot be changed.
• Go to dpuhonors.com (Courses – Winter quarter) to view descriptions of HON course offerings.
• Confirm that you have no holds on your account that will prevent enrollment.
  • For information on how to manage holds, contact myDePaul@depaul.edu or go to the MyDePaul office in 101 SAC.
• To find DEC Intercession classes follow this path:
  • Go to Manage Classes and click on “Class Search and Enroll.”  Select “2024-2025 Winter.” Click on “Additional ways to search.” Scroll to “Session” and select “December Session.” Press search and the options will appear.
    • Note that when you click on a course, the list will also include winter quarter sections of that course.  Be sure the course you select is noted as December Session.
