Get Involved and Earn Honors Distinction
Getting involved outside of the classroom is an essential aspect of any well-rounded college education. Honors students who dedicate themselves to the Honors community through displayed involvement and commitment earn a special award called Honors Distinction. To achieve Honors Distinction, you must complete three tiers of participation: Partnership, Leadership, and Scholarship.
Earning Distinction is quite the “honor”; less than 10% of all students achieve it!
Students who do earn Honors Distinction will have their achievements individually recognized at Honors graduation, receive a special cord and medallion in addition to the standard Honors cord to wear as part of their regalia, and have their name permanently commemorated on a plague in the DePaul University Honors Office.
