What is Honors Partnership?

Honors Partnership is one of the three milestones that students must meet to earn Honors Distinction. The Partnership milestone represents a student’s participation in the Honors community outside of the classroom. Students earn Partnership by attending events and participating in opportunities hosted by the Honors Program. For each event you attend, you earn 1 Honors Point. Once a student earns 10 total Honors Points, they earn Honors Partnership!

Once you earn 10 Honors Points, you and your fellow newly-minted Honors Partners will be celebrated with a pizza party and receive some sweet Honors swag!

Honors Partnership is awarded once a student earns 10 “Honors Points” (aka participates in 10 Honors events or activities). Learn more about points here.

What is an Honors Point?

Honors Points are a way for the Honors Program to keep track of a student’s attendance and participation in Honors’ co-curricular and events. Every time you participate in an Honors event, you earn 1 Honors Point. Honors Partnership is earned by receiving 10 total Honors Points.

How Many Points Do I Have?

Do Points Ever Expire?

Nope! Once you earn a point, it is yours to keep forever! Students can accumulate points over all the years that they are in the Honors Program.

Do I need to earn Points to remain in Honors?

Nope! No student needs to participate in any co-curriculars to remain active in and graduate from the Honors Program.
