What is Honors Partnership?
Honors Partnership is one of the three milestones that students must meet in order to earn Honors Distinction. The Partnership milestone represents a student’s participation in the Honors community outside of the classroom. Students earn Partnership by attending events and participating in opportunities hosted by the Honors Program.
For every event you attend, you earn 1 Honors Point. Once you earn 10 Honors Points, you achieve Partnership!
Earning 10 points not only earns you Honors Partnership, but you’ll also be celebrated with a pizza party and recieve some sweet Honors swag!
What’s an Honors Point?
Attending Honors events earns you Honors Points. One event earns one Point. Once you earn 10 Honors Points, you achieve Honors Partnership!
What Is an Honors Point?
Honors Points are a way for the Honors Program to keep track of a student’s attendance at Honors’ events. Every time you participate in an Honors event, you earn 1 Honors Point. Honors Partnership is earned by receiving 10 total Honors Points.

How Do I Know if an Event Earns an Honors Point?
Was the event hosted by the Honors Program? Then it earns an Honors Point!
Check your email regularly or follow us on Instagram @dpu_honors to know when events that earn Honors Points are being held!
How Many Points Do I Have?
To see how many Honors Points you have, visit the Honors Program Points Page on D2L.
Do Points Ever Expire?
Nope! Once you earn a point, it is yours to keep forever! Students can accumulate points over all the years that they are in the Honors Program.
Do I need to earn Points to remain in Honors?
Nope! No student needs to participate in any co-curriculars to remain active in and graduate from the Honors Program.
