Honors Students – Interested in expanding your studies? The LGBTQ Studies minor offers both valuable learning and ways of thought – and it’s especially compatible with the Honors curriculum!
Here’s how:
The minor in LGBTQ studies is a six course (24-quarter-hour) program requiring:
- One foundational course, LGQ 150: Intro to LGBTQ Studies
- Then, choose five elective courses from dozens of options to fulfill the remaining credits!
Your minor classes could fulfill Honors program requirements, too. For example, you could take:
- HON 111: Queer Chicago Memories
- HON 203: Pride, Protest, LGBTQ Activism
- HON 203: Gender, Sexuality, Social Justice
If your course includes themes that align with the LGBTQ Studies curriculum, then yo can likely apply them to the minor, too! Not sure if your class applies? Email lgbtqstudies@depaul.edu for any inquiries!
