The McNair Scholars Program prepares and empowers first-generation, low-income DePaul undergraduates to become highly competitive candidates for doctoral programs. Specialized curriculum, seminars, faculty-supervised research, experiential learning, research opportunities, and conferences provide experiences that strengthen research skills, expand academic networks, and position scholars for successful doctoral degrees and careers in university teaching and research.
