Honors students are invited to From FM to Activism: Latinx Empowerment through Community Radio, a community event presented by students in the Humanities X program at DePaul University.
Join us on Friday, November 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lumpen Radio headquarters in Bridgeport (3219 South Morgan Street, Chicago, IL 60608) for an afternoon of student storytelling, community, food, and music.
Throughout the quarter, students in this class have explored how radio can be used as a creative platform for reflection, activism, and social change. At this event, they will share their final audio stories, which will also be broadcast live on Lumpen Radio that day.
