Pizza With a Professor

The Honors Program is happy to host Pizza with a Prof featuring Dr. Chernoh Sesay on Wednesday, April 16 at 5pm. This event is a unique opportunity to connect with Honors Program professors outside the classroom, ask questions about faculty research, expand your network, get to know your peers, and share a meal with fellow Honors students! Dr. Chernoh M. Sesay, Jr. is an historian of the Black Atlantic and of colonial North American and antebellum United States history whose research focuses on the intersection of religion, black political thought, identity, and community formation. A professor in the Department of Religious Studies, Dr. Sesay teaches HON 102: Slavery, Race, and Religion and HON 104: Power, Resistance, and Identity in Black and African American Religions for the Honors Program.
