You know that feeling of being in a restaurant and seeing a smoking pan of chicken fajitas brought to a table leaving everyone else to stop whatever they’re doing to face the direction of the sizzling plate? Personally, I’ve never wanted that attention brought onto me in a restaurant, so I opt into making chicken fajitas at home.
Ingredients:
-2tbs of white vinegar
-2tbs of vegetable oil
-2 bell peppers
-1 red onion
-1-2 chicken breasts
-sprinkle of cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite sized pieces. Put into a ziploc bag.
- Cut the veggies into long strips. Put it into a different ziploc bag.
- Combine the vinegar, oil, and seasonings and pour half into the chicken bag and half
into the veggie bag. - Put the bags into the fridge and let marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- In a pan, cook down the veggies until tender.
- In a separate pan, cook chicken until fully cooked through. Combine the two pans once
everything is cooked.
