Honors Student Government is teaming up with DePaul’s Education and Counseling Center (ECC) to tutor K-12 students in the Chicago community.
The HSG Service Committee invites all interested Honors Students to sign up for this opportunity. Honors Students will receive 1 Honors Point for each tutoring session. Complete this form to let our committee chairs know you’re interested and they will connect you with the ECC.
Details about ECC’s tutoring hours:
- Tutoring matches are based on your availability and can be for 1 hour or more, once a week.
- In-person tutoring hours are Monday – Thursday 3:30pm-6:00pm, and Saturday 11:00am – 1:00pm.
- One-on-one tutoring and drop-in math homework help hours are Thursdays from 3:15pm – 5:15pm.
- Some tutoring appointments can be arranged over Zoom, but in-person tutoring is preferred.
- The tutoring program is based on DePaul’s quarter system; tutors can stop tutoring over finals week and DePaul vacations.
