Register for the Spring Symposium

DePaul University looks forward to welcoming you to the 2026 HCIR Spring Symposium. The symposium will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus. Here you will find the registration link, fee information, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Honors Council of the Illinois Region Student Symposium!  We look forward to you joining us for a day of meeting students and faculty from across the state, sharing new ideas, and celebrating the academic achievements of our HCIR students.  The day will be composed of two rounds each of panel presentations and poster sessions, with a break for lunch.  After the symposium, we encourage you to explore the Lincoln Park neighborhood or enjoy some of the world-class cultural opportunities (many of which offer student discounts!) in downtown Chicago.

Location DePaul University, Arts and Letters Hall, 2315 N. Kenmore Ave., Chicago, IL 60614  (Please note that this is on the Lincoln Park campus north of downtown.)

Date and time — Saturday, March 7, 2026, 9:00 a.m-2:30 p.m.

Student registration fee — $20

Faculty registration fee –$50

Registration deadline — Sunday, March 1, 2026

Registration includes a light breakfast and lunch.  All students presenting in a panel or poster session must register by the deadline to be eligible to participate.

Students are encouraged to bring guests.  Guests do not need to register, but they will be responsible for their own breakfast and lunch.
