Parking

For those driving to the Lincoln Park campus, there are several parking options available.

DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus has two garages: the Sheffield Parking Garage and the Clifton Parking Deck.

All guests and visitors to the HCIR Spring Symposium will receive a validated rate of $15 for 12 hours at either garage.

To receive the validated parking rate, simply park your car in either garage. Upon your arrival to the Symposium in Arts & Letters Hall, a validation QR code will be provided to you at check-in. The QR code will also be available in the printed event program. Scan the QR code at any point before exiting the garage, follow the prompts to pay the validated rate, and then exit the parking garage as normal.

There will also be free street parking available during the hours of the Spring Symposium. Free parking can often be found on the following streets near Arts & Letters Hall: Bissel, Sheffield, Kenmore, Seminary, Clifton, Belden, and Webster. Refer to the Lincoln Park Campus Map for a visual aid or download the SpotAngels app to explore free parking options throughout campus and the city.

If you do choose to street park, be sure to heed all posted street signs to avoid a ticket. DePaul University is not responsible for any tickets or damage incurred by street parking.

CTA Transportation

The Lincoln Park Campus is accessible by several public Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) routes. Guests choosing to take public transit can pay for bus and train (“L”) tickets with any form of contactless payment.

Guests can also purchase single-ride and one-day Ventra passes online or at ticket vending machines located at all L stations. Learn more about CTA Ventra passes at www.ventrachicago.com.

For guests choosing to travel by CTA, Google Maps has excellent integration with the CTA to help you plan when and where to catch your bus or L.

A light breakfast and lunch will be served on the day of the Symposium for students, faculty, and staff who have paid the registration fee.
