Live with the Continuing Honors LLC!

Looking for a place to live near campus next year? How about living on campus with the Continuing Honors Living Learning Community (LLC)!

Join the Continuing Honors LLC and live right here in Lincoln Park in McCabe Hall. McCabe Hall features apartment-style dorm rooms complete with kitchenettes. Living on the Continuing Honors LLC allows you to live and dorm with fellow Honors upper-class students and take advantage of exclusive program provided to Living Learning Community. All Honors students are welcome to opt-in to the Continuing Honors LLC, even if you never lived on the Honors LLC floor in your first year.

To secure your room in the McCabe Hall Continuing Honors LLC, you must complete the two-step opt-in process by FRIDAY, March 27.

STEP 1:

As an Honors student living on campus, you have the opportunity to live within the Continuing Honors Living Learning Community for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Please review the details below regarding this living learning community (LLC).

The community will be located in McCabe Hall, and it offers three different room types:

1. Standard Apartment with two bedrooms for two residents
2. Standard Apartment with two bedrooms for four residents
3. Efficiency Apartment with three bedrooms for three residents
   1. McCabe efficiencies do not have a full kitchen. Their “kitchenette” offers a full-size refrigerator, microwave, countertops, and cabinets. They do not have a sink, stovetop, or oven.

The Continuing Honors LLC is intended for current students who are part of the university Honors program and will continue to be in the Honors program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The size of this community will be based on how many students elect to join. Students who request to live within the Continuing Honors LLC will be assigned housing by our Housing & Residence Life staff. They will not participate in Room Selection.

If you want to live in the Continuing Honors LLC for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, you must complete the following two steps by Friday, March 27:

1. Complete a 2025-2026 Housing Agreement within the Housing Portal at myhousing.depaul.edu.
2. Complete the Continuing Honors Living Learning Community Request form.

Your request to live in the Continuing Honors LLC will supersede all other housing preferences you indicate within your 2026-2027 Housing Agreement. If you are requesting a roommate, that person must also be an Honors student who has requested to live within the Continuing Honors LLC.
