CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: HONORS STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE

Apply to present your best work in poster format at the Honors Student Research Conference. Participants will receive guidance from Honors staff to create their posters and prepare their presentations.

Students who are accepted to the conference will present their research as a poster on Friday, May 29 from 2:00-6:00pm in Arts & Letters Hall.

Participating in the Honors Research Conference earns Honors Scholarship, a necessary milestone for Honors Distinction.

Submission Deadline: April 13, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTE: All student presenters are required to attend the conference in its entirety. Before applying, please check your calendar to confirm that you have no commitments that will interfere with your conference participation.

Note to Thesis Students: All thesis students will present their thesis project at the Honors Conference. No conference submission is required.

Submission Guidelines

• Select a research paper or project that represents your best work from an HON course taken in spring or autumn 2025 or winter 2026 (approx. 7-15 pages or an equally substantial non-paper-based research project).
• Write a 100-200 word abstract summarizing your research and conclusions.
• Complete the linked application form and submit it, along with your paper/supplemental materials.
