Abstract: The Minimum wage is not where it should be, so where should it be? Olivia’s research paper investigates this question by examining the most prominent approaches: Pro-Free Market, Anti-Free Market, and the most extreme Pro-Free Market approach (eliminating the minimum wage). Within each approach, she evaluated the arguments, the data presented, and its application in the American economy. Her analysis poked holes in each approach’s solutions, but one approach still remains standing: the Anti-Free Market approach. Although she did find facts and fallacies in all arguments, the Anti-Free Market approach remains the strongest for its continual effort to better minimum wage and its consideration for the economy.
